The Price And The Promise Of Your Online Network Marketing Business

in Network Marketing

We are all lead into doing things based upon the outcome of our actions. We pay the price for the promise of a worthy result. We do this on our life and business paths, but for our online network marketing businesses its a little bit different.

We are uncertain of the price we have to pay (especially in the beginning), the promise isn’t guaranteed and there is no clear time scale for the return on our investment.

So how do we push pass this grey area of price and promise to make our online network marketing business successful?

Price And Promise Explained

The reason why the majority of the world are employed is because they know that in exchange for their time and their skills (the price) they will be paid a set amount of money at regular times on set dates (the promise).

What is required of them is laid out in a job specification. What is paid to them is bound by law in the form of an employment contract. If both parties, the employee and the employer stick to their contractual obligation the relationship will run smoothly and can continue to run this way indefinitely for many, many years.

The vast majority like this plan because it is reassuring, comfortable, clear and reliable (well, not really reliable, but you know what I mean). The price which is paid is in direct correlation to the promise that is received.

A small minority of us know this method is not for us. We feel it’s not how we want to live our lives. The promise isn’t big enough, our time is much more valuable and there is limited room to grow. We know we are not paid equally to the price we pay. So we look for other ways. Other means to level out the playing field. Ways in which we are paid for our value to the market place. Our growth on this playing field has no limit, the more valuable we become to the market place the more the market place will be willing to pay for our value.

The Price And Promise In Network Marketing Online

The home based business arena is a little bit different regarding price and promise than the conventional method explained above. There is no set job spec / guideline for the price we pay in our network marketing businesses online. There is no promise to what our outcome / results are going to be.

So why do so many people turn to network marketing online? Why have you?

For me the answer is simple. All though there is no set specification of what I need to do to get paid, I know that if I provide value to the market place, I will be paid for the value I provide. There is no set price for my value, so this week I may make £100, next week I may make £20,000, the week after I may make nothing at all, but I know that the value I am providing will be valuable to someone, and at some point that person will buy a product or service which I am connected to. If I continue to provide this person with value, quality value which is benefiting their life, their business they will buy from me again and again. They may join me in my business, where we will form a team and we can both start to provide value to others, individually and as a team. The more people which benefit from the value the more there will be to collect by way of payment. So the price is the value provided.

The promise is, if you find my value beneficial to you at some point you may join me in my business or buy from me.

How Do I Pay The Price?

I pay the price by giving value daily via many different methods. I connect with people, build a relationship with them and help them to make conformed decisions about their business and the ways they can market their business online and offline.

I also pay the price by continually making myself more valuable. The more valuable I become, the more value I can give. I do this by developing my personal power. I don’t just read the books or listen to audiobooks, I study them. I re-read / re-listen to them, take notes, highlight, follow recommendations and apply the knowledge I have gained. Applied knowledge is more powerful than learned knowledge.

There is no limit to my development, as much as I learn there will always be some more.

How Do I Get The Promise?

The promise in network marketing comes on two levels.

  • Level 1 and by far the most important level. If you come by my blog or see my articles, press releases, videos etc and you pick up some information, some value which is of benefit to you in your life and your business, then I have just been paid. If I have in anyway helped you to progress closer to your goal, your dreams, to your success. I have just been paid. I have played a part in your success and that is a massive reward.
  • Level 2. You may want to join me in my business. You may purchase products I recommend like Building On A Budget for example. I get paid money into my account or a cheque lands on my doorstep.
You can get everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want. – Zig Ziglar,

Are You Paying The Price For The Promise?

In your network marketing business online, are you paying the price? Are you giving as much value as you can?

Don’t be expecting the promise to come as soon as you put a piece of value up. I wish it was that simple, but it isn’t. You have to work at it daily providing your value to the market place. There are many different ways in which you can do this some free, some paid for. Whichever way you chose make sure you keep providing the value.

Full time effort will bring you full time rewards.

Remember you get paid based on the value you provide. Make yourself as valuable as you can be and continue to grow. The promise to you will be fulfilled, I promise ;-) .

I love it, I love it, what you wrote about the price and promise, Dwayne.
I think it is awsome, honestly. I had the idea about this two terms, price and promise, but when I read your topic it gave me a crystal clear idea about the relationship we should be looking forward as networkers. That before going after the plain “buck” we should treat our “customers” as what they are, human beings, with feelings just like we would like to be treated. Always give value first and the rest will como to us.
Congratulations, keep the good writing.

Jose,

Blessings
