The Road To Becoming An Alpha Networker

How do you know when you become an Alpha Networker?

I got asked this question recently and it got me thinking. There is no set answer to this question and I don’t think there is a set date by which a person is deemed ready for Alphaship (new word, feel free to use it ).

We all know the stages of a network marketer are Beta, Pre-Alpha and Alpha Networker, but there is no set exam to take, to determine when you move up in the ranks. So the question had me thinking a little bit for a suitable answer and here is what I have come up with.

Beta Networker

Everyone has to start somewhere and in network marketing Beta is the entry level. It’s where you get exposed to a culture which is very different from what you thought it was going to be when you signed up. You may have been a ‘top dog’ in your industry previously but that doesn’t matter much here in the network marketing world.

Now you are the baby of the club and if you chose to, you can learn the lessons, the skills and disciplines which will move you through the ranks. The speed at which you develop is entirely up to you so therefore the date of when you become a Pre-Alpha or Alpha is determined by you.

Some people have the ‘I know it all’ mentality and are not willing to gain the necessary skills needed to be successful so they don’t progress. They remain as babies, no crawling and definitely no walking. No activity is done so nothing is received in return. This is the Beta Networker at their finest.

What needs to be understood is that the natural progression of a network marketer is to become a leader. If you think it is any different then you are in the wrong business. If you just want to sell products and not build a team, leverage your time and make residual income you need to get out of the network marketing industry right now. Try affiliate marketing.

The second you decide to learn the skills, gain the knowledge and develop yourself this is when you the Pre-Alpha Networker is born. You are no longer a Beta because you have decided to really take responsibility for your future. This timing is in your hands, it is your decision to make. For me this happened about a year after I become involved in network marketing. For a whole year I was spinning around and going know where fast. Thinking back on it, I was such a Beta, if Beta’s got awards I would definitely got one or two for that year.

The day finally came when I made the decision that I didn’t want to be a Beta anymore. I knew what the difference was between what I was NOT DOING and what other Pre-Alphas around me WAS DOING. It was painfully obvious by the results they were getting compared to the results I wasn’t getting. I didn’t have to be a genius to figure it out. So Pre-Alpha ME was born.

Anybody can make the same decision. It doesn’t take a special person to achieve Pre-Alpha status. You just have to be consistently active on your business and continually developing yourself. That’s it.

Pre-Alpha Networker

You have reached this great place through focus and activity. Now the next stage is Alpha Networker.

When do you become an Alpha Networker?
Well let’s look at it this way. As a Pre-Alpha you will be doing the activities in your business to grow your business. You will be getting leads and you will be converting these leads into business partners this is a force of nature which cant be changed. Constant activity can only bring results. << Lucky Us

Now just because you have some people in your downline this does not make you an Alpha Networker. Yes you have some people to lead, so you can consider yourself a leader but being an Alpha Networker will take more self development.

Don’t be discouraged because you are doing the things you need to do to get you to Alpha status. But your not Mile Dillard yet. You need to understand why someone like Mike who is clearly an Alpha Networker can say to the masses ‘buy this book’ and everyone goes out and buys it without question.

Not only do you have to learn to understand yourself more, you have to know how to read other people. You have to know the answer to the question they haven’t even asked yet. Your have to be a pillar of confidence. You have to be a person who is unmoved by minor things you know your goal and your direction and you head straight for it.

Why do you have to be all these things? Well it’s the difference between attracting people to you and then still having to persuade them to join your business compared to people wanting to join your business without even talking to you. Now I’m not saying as an Alpha you wont have to talk to people and still ‘network’, but due to your foresight, your belief in yourself, your confidence, your understanding of others, people will trust you from a further distance. They will genuinely know that you only want what is best for them. The major hurdle of trust has already been overcome before the conversation has even begun. Your sales will go through the roof, your downline will be on course to reach the center of the earth. Your growth will 10 times, 100 times, 1000 times quicker at Alpha Networker level than it is at Pre-Alpha level.

Alpha Networker

Mike Dillard and Ryan Angelo’s new product will be released soon and I would strongly recommend that all of you should get it. Much like how Magnetic Sponsoring changed the face of online network marketing I believe this product will again have a major influence on how people gain success in their business and personal lives.

No one can say to you that on a particular day you will be an Alpha Networker. Only you can predict when that is going to happen for you. If you are learning what it takes to be an Alpha and applying the knowledge everyday your Alphaship awaits you. Go claim it!
