I Want To Be Rich

Hi, I am Dwayne Huggins. I’m an ordinary guy who has always dreamed of being rich. Back in my school days I didn’t really know what being rich meant, but I liked the look of it. As I matured (not by much, but enough to get by) and got into the working world (rat race), I was determined to find a job which paid me £20,000 a year (yes I said a year). That was my first goal (believe it or not). I didn’t have a specific field of work which I was aiming for, but I knew I didn’t want to wear suits to work everyday, even though I wanted the money the people in suits were making.

Through one thing or another I fell into graphic designing.

Reasonable money without the suits. Prefect! In the graphic design field I achieved my first goal of £20,000 a year wage! This felt great for exactly 2 months. You see I thought I was rich, so I went out and did what the rich did. Buy stuff, a lot of stuff. Soon enough I was spending what I made and was actually worse off than when I was ‘poor’. I learned my lesson cut back on the spending and life got comfortable.

As time went on I near enough doubled my annual salary. Great right?

I was also blessed with 3 wonderful children. Some property. Cars. Travel expenses which were almost 10% of my annual salary. Being rich wasn’t cracking up to what I thought it would be. I no longer wanted to be rich. I wanted to be wealthy!

Forget Being Rich. I Want To Be Very Wealthy!

A good friend of mine Wayne Vassell introduced me to a book called Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. That book changed my life. I now understood what being wealthy truly meant and what I needed to do to achieve it.

Robert Kiyosaki’s definition of wealth – “The number of days that you can survive forward if you stop work today”

My interpretation of this is; If I earn £2000 in 1 month. My expenditures for a month is  £1000. I will able to survive for 2 months if I was to stop working today.

The problem I had

My expenditures was almost equal to my income and in some months more than my income, leaving me in a negative wealth state.

I needed more, but time was limited. My job wasn’t about to give me 100% pay rise any time soon. So, my search for wealth began.

Network Marketing / MLM saved my life.

A network marketing / MLM business is the perfect way to work on your fortune part-time whilst still working at your day job full-time. In time your income which you work part-time on will equal, and surpass your full-time rat race money. Now there’s a good place to be. If you can make more than your wages whilst working part-time on your network marketing / mlm business, imagine how much more you can make if you was working on your business full time! Network Marketing / MLM when done right equals More Money and most importantly More Time!

My life equaled a full time job which took 13 hours a day door to door out of my life, 5 days a week for break even money. No time to spend with my loved ones. No money to take a well deserved family holiday and negative wealth. My future looked bleak and very depressing. And retirement looked even worse as I would of been surviving on a 3rd of what I cant currently survive on now! If you are living this life right now, you owe it to yourself and those close to you to look for another way.

Now I won’t lie. My first internet business attracted quite a few unique monthly visitors but it hardly made any money – I mean it certainly didn’t get me to the point of being able to really live the life I so much desired. In fact, it was costing me to keep the business running and the bottom line was getting eaten away. It was a local night club event, and photography site, and the truth is people loved to visit it but we at the time we had know idea of how to turn our visitors into customers. I don’t regret this failure. I learn’t so much from it.

So the search went on, and along came Network Marketing. After reading all the online testimonies and going to meetings to meet and hear actual peoples testimonies (I’m talking about people earning 10, 20 – 60k a month residually), I was sold the network marking dream. I remember looking at these ordinary people from ordinary walks of life some with very similar stories to mine talking about their successes and I said to myself, if they can do it, so can I.

I became a  part of the network marketing / MLM world and I won’t look back.

My first year in the business was like pushing spaghetti around a plate with my nose. It all seemed pointless and was getting me know where.

What did I know, I had NO EXPERIENCE in marketing on or off line!

• I was given a cookie-cutter website promoting my business not me.
• I was trying to “sell” and “convince” people I had the best business and services in the world.
• I was purchasing THOUSANDS of promotional material with no way of tracking my progress or lack of it.
• I was HORRIBLE on the phone.
• I was posting bandit signs around my area.
• I was cold calling prospects out of the phone books.
• And the worst part I still had the mindset of a £20,000 per year income earner because that was my reality!

Burn-out was around the corner. I was soon to become 1 of the 97% who don’t make it in network marketing and I fully understood why they don’t make it. I took a step back and looked at the successful people on and off line who had made it and were continuing to make it and knew I couldn’t give up in my dreams.

I am now a member of great companies which I have fitted perfectly in with my current lifestyle. These companies have great training and support from both the company and the other members with great compensation plans. I still have a way to go. But I have laid the foundations and I have seem some positive results which only highlight what I already know. I will achieve my goals and soon enough this ‘My Story’ section will be saying I am one of the 6 figure earners. I wont give up til I get there.

I have personally developed and continue to do so. I have read books and spoken to as many self made millionaires that I can find. I have learned from them and I am doing exactly as they have taught. I have understood their mindset, and how focused they are on achieving their goals. I have learned how they have built their MLM empires and believe it or not it had nothing to do with the actual company they are represent.

I am now attracting the things I want into my life!

The right leaders and mentors are now in my life and I no longer feel like I’m pushing spaghetti around a plate with my nose. In-fact its the complete opposite. I can’t wait for new nuggets of information from team members which helps to propel my business or when I develop a new strategy I love to share it with anyone who is interested, in the hope that they implement it correctly and it brings some success for them. I love helping people achieve their dreams.

I am now in a position to help and mentor others.
