Network Marketing Ideas For A Network Marketer

Network Marketing Ideas

I get asked this question at least 3-4 times a week

“Where do you get the content for your articles from”?

Its a good question. I remember when I first started writing articles and blog post, I used to stress myself for where the content for the next article was going to come from.

Strange enough I don’t have a direct answer to this question. There is no set place that I go to and get content from. What I will do for you is explain how the ideas come into my head and share with you the places that I love hanging out at online where I pick up golden nuggets of information and great value.

Network Marketing Ideas For A Network Marketer

The main way in which I generate ideas for content is from being actively involved in my business and the network marketing industry on the whole.

From working my business daily I come across issues, problems, head-scratching moments and successes, all of which can be written down and shared with those who are interested like you.

If I come across a method for marketing such as the ever popular Facebook Marketing Method I will happily share this information with you. Likewise with any personal development or leadership (alpha networker) skills.

My view is if I use these methods, philosophies, values, beliefs etc and they work for me they can and will work for you (when applied consistently).

Writing about what I learn and use benefits me in two ways.

  1. I get to share the value with you. You can use the value in your own life and business and I know it will bring you success. The more value I share the valuable I become!
  2. I learn more and get more out of the lesson by writing it down. The value gets more cemented in my brain. When writing articles you have to think of the ways in which the message will best connect with the audience. This means that you are actually thinking of the topic twice. Internally with your own understanding and externally, explaining it to others.

That is literally how I form my network marketing ideas.

My thinking wasn’t always like this. If you had said to me two years ago that I would be writing articles daily about network marketing, personal development, the arts of leadership and loving it, I would of firstly laughed at you and once the laughter had subsided I would of asked you what is network marketing.

A lot has changed in two short years and what a great change it has been. Now I love the network marketing industry on and offline. Funnily enough I came online so I didn’t have to do offline, but what I have learned online has made me more confident, now I look forward to doing some offline work.

When you develop a love for something its impossible to not think about it all the time. Ideas just flow and continue to flow.

A massive part of my love for the industry is the people I have met and the really cool places which I visit daily to learn, grow and have a good ole laugh.

Cool Online Value Bursting Places

Betternetworker.com – If you read my post the other day you will know my views on BN. Whatever you want to know about network marketing can be found here. If you can’t find what you are looking for just ask and the answers will come.

JasonBetter.com – Again my article the other day really broke down my views on this remarkable blog. JasonBetter along with BetterNetworker make up ‘The Betters’. Go read my post on them.

WayneVassell.com – Mentor, upline, marketing methods genius but above all a great friend. He was the person who introduced me network marketing and he has supported throughout. We make a great UK mastermind team and the best from us is yet to come. His blog is packed with straight to the point, no messing, usable value.

JoshGarcia.com – The Comment Ninja himself. Josh is a great guy one of the first people to start commenting on my blog. He has gone on to become the Comment Ninja. You can try and beat him to the top comment spot on most blogs but I doubt you’ll make it. The great thing about Josh is he leaves great helpful, insightful comments. His blog is also packed with value. With his last ten posts you can have your whole social media marketing campaign up and running with no problems.

DriveTheLine.com – Team Alvarez. Derek (aka P.I. Avarez, aka Super Chicken) Alvarez and his soon to win an Oscar wife Monique Alvarez head up the Drive The Line Blog. Value packed information presented in a uniquely refreshing way. Derek’s simplistic way of viewing things and just getting them done is inspiring. I can’t imagine him getting caught up the network marketing noise. Monique is conquering video marketing. Her videos are insightful and very entertaining (camera man is a bit shaky though :-) )

ChrisOwenAcademy.com – Chris’s personal story is an inspiration to me. He has been through a lot in his life and came thought it. In his story you can see where many others would of given up if they were in his same position. He also (understandably) has a passion for self development, similar to me. So we really connect on that level. Recently his wife Tragena Owen did a guest article on his blog and all I can say is WOW. Some really powerfully stuff is being pumped out over at the Chris Owen Academy.

MaverickBusinessBlog.com – Jerome Ratliff has some amazing content on here. His recent post about masterminding was spot on and very timely for me as I am developing a mastermind team here in the UK. Jerome has bucket loads of value to share on everything business related.

DirectSalesDomination.com – Does what is says in the tin. Eric McMillan really knows his stuff. He freely gives great advice on all things MLM and the all important SEO structures and ideas. Eric is very helpful ask him anything, he will only be to willing to help.

KetSangTai.com – Ket is an attraction marketing genius. He has topped the Leader Board over at MLSP and is very proactive with his team members. He also hails from the UK so he and I will be doing business in the very near future.

SusannaHess.com – Susanna has a great way of writing and has recently ventured into video. Her second video (I think its her second one) is simply amazing.

TheEnlightenedNetworker.com – Ilka Flood has a great way of putting things. Her blog looks great, a really nice place to put your feet up and have a good read.

New To Me Hot Spots, Definitely Worth A Look

TwilaJacobs.com - MikePaulJr.comAdamHaider.com

And Of Course

Twitter.com – I am not a massive Twitter user, but I understand the power of it. I ReTweet all the great content I come across and so should you.

And finally Facebook.com . It can not be ignored. Yes there is a lot of cr*p on there, but that is only if you get sucked into the cr*p. There is also a lot of value to be found on good ole Facebook. Facebook recently become the number one most view website in the US. It actually beat Google.

To not have a presence on Facebook is foolish. Globally it is the second most visited site in the world. It is a great place to broaden your social circle. Life isn’t all about business Facebook is a great place to meet people who have the same hobbies as you or like the same things you do. Look out for my soon to come Facebook Page & Group!

What To Do Now

Now you should go and have a look at the places I have mentioned, don’t just take my word for it, go see for yourself.

Let others know where to find great content by ReTweeting and Facebook Sharing this post.

I am sure there are many other great places which are offering great content. Let me know of where else I should be looking and hanging out. My hang out spots are growing on a weekly basis. I like having many places of value to hang out. Fill up the comment box of where I can find you hanging out.

I don't know what to say because thank you for mentioning my blog as a new hot spot doesn't begin to show the appreciation that I feel right now.

Now the pressure is on to pump out some rockin value ; )

Wow Dwayne, what an awesome article. I can see why you get asked that. This blog has quickly become one of my favorites to visit.

I had bookmarked and been following a few of the other sites you mentioned here, but I love the list and I've now bookmarked them all and will be checking in. (haha Twila, I'll be checking you out! Love your comment.)

Hey Dwayne,

Thanks for the shout out, my man!

I'm just like you, I hang out in the “hot spots” and try to see what the hot topics are and go from there. If you're watching your RSS feeds (and you really should be watching your RSS feeds), you'll see all the latest news come up.

I'm pretty sure this is how ol' Josh “The Comment Ninja” is able to sneak in and snag that coveted first comment spot.

But that's ok, I'll get him. Someday…

Thanks again for the mention, talk soon.

Hey Josh

Being involved in your business really gives you a wealth of ideas. I know the dreaded -BLANK- day will come one day, but until that day we will push on.

Dwayne Huggins March 20, 2010 at 08:33

Twila

Its no problem, thank you for creating a hot spot for people to hang out at.

Hi

Some very good information and places to start to “hang out”. I am new to all of this but learning fast. Thanks for the information.

Dwayne Huggins March 20, 2010 at 15:12

Hey Lisa

Glad to see you made it.

These are some great place to hang out online, go have a look and soak up the value

ilkaflood March 20, 2010 at 20:34

Wow, being mentioned with such greats as Jason Better, Josh Garcia, Derek & Monique Alvarez, Chris & Tragena Owen, Wayne Vassell and Jerome Ratliff just to name a few, left me absolutely speechless. Those and the rest of them, including you Dwayne, are individuals I look up to.

Ever since I started my daily venture over to JB's blog I have met some incredible people and the list is growing. I have bookmarked all the above mentioned sites and eventually will say hello to all of them.

Great advice on finding content! Get involved and the content will find YOU.

Thanks again for that great mention, Dwayne! It really means a lot.

ilkaflood March 20, 2010 at 20:36

Twila, don't sell yourself short. You ROCK! I love visiting your site because it contains some very valuable and HOT content.

Dwayne Huggins March 21, 2010 at 18:54

Hey Ilka

Being mentioned in such great circles is something to be proud of. You deserve to definitely have your name there. Your blog is great and you give quality value to the industry.

Thank you for passing by

Eric McMillan March 22, 2010 at 00:26

Dwayne,
Sometimes it can be a challenge to come up with good material everyday. I envy your ability to come up with topics that are interesting regularly. A lot of days I have to spend an hour just trying to get some ideas on what to write so that I am not talking about the same thing all the time.

Great post,
Eric McMillan

Dwayne Huggins March 22, 2010 at 08:37

Eric

I feel your pain and I to have days where ideas haven't fully formed. Nevertheless you still put out some great content, a lot of what you have written has helped me a lot.

Chris Owen March 22, 2010 at 12:55

Hey Dwayne,

You slipped this post by me. I must have came by here Friday before you put it out. I love coming by here and reading the content. You have a point of view on life and business that is very close to my own thinking. So it is always a pleasure to read through. We also are like minded on the places we visit. Of the sixteen places you mentioned there were only three I haven't been by and commented myself.

I look forward to your next post.

Dwayne Huggins March 23, 2010 at 08:50

Hey Chris

Friday was a hectic day so I didn't get a chance to put this post up until late. The main thing is you made it over here!

Thank you.

Derek Alvarez March 31, 2010 at 21:53

Hey Dwayne,

I was out of town when you wrote this and just happened to see it. Thanks for the mention, man!

Sincerely,

P.S. I'm usually the cameraman… we should probably get a tripod ;)

Dwayne Huggins April 1, 2010 at 08:11

I fiugred you was the cameraman. Your getting better! (Ha)

jmcg084 April 13, 2010 at 09:12

A very nice insight Dwayne, I agree, you need to be in touch with your business to be able to have the content flow out of you like a river.

Dwayne Huggins April 14, 2010 at 13:04

Josh

Leaders lead and that can only happen by being active in your business daily.
