By now you should of read Magnetic Sponsoring. If you haven’t you are missing a sizable chunk of how Attraction Marketing works. So get it now.
Every internet network marketer is using Attraction Marketing.
So how come some marketers are more attractive than others?
We know that in order to be attractive we have to offer people something of value.
We know that solving peoples problems will make us more attractive.
And we know how to market what we have to offer world.
Yet person A and person B doing the same thing can end up with a completely different result.
Why Is This?
Walk with me through this example.
A top Network Marketing GooRoo says that to be a successful network marketer you have to STAND OUT.
Eager marketers A & B just paid $197.99 for that valuable piece of information and are now trying to figure out how they are going to STAND OUT.
They both come up with the idea that they need to be seen and the best way is to STAND OUT is in the middle of a road.
(They are doing exactly what the GooRoo said, right?)
Both eager marketers A & B get some A-boards and writes on them;
I Can Help You Make Money. Ask Me How
Eager marketer A goes and stands in the middle of a busy highway with his A-board. He immediately get a lot of attention from the passing traffic.
He dodges many cars, lorries, camper-vans and motorbikes. He makes the evening news with the headline;
“Mad Man Causes 20 Car Pile Up By Standing In the Middle Of The Road To Promote His Business.”
Eager marketer B with his A-board is a little bit less adventurous and opts for standing in the middle of a nice, quiet, picturesque country lane.
He successful manages to dodge a hedgehog and shoos some birds from perching on his A-board.
No cars, lorries, camper-vans or motorbikes pass. In fact not even a pedestrian walks by.
He is not seen.
Both people using the exact same method of marketing with completely different results.
The Message Behind The Story
Now I am not saying you need to go and do something as drastic as causing a 20 car pile up. But some times you have to be more creative with your methods of attraction.
The first part to becoming attractive is to get their attention in the first place.
If you have your place of value (generally your blog) standing in the middle of a country lane where no one is passing by to be able to see it, what is the point of having it?
Why not put your blog (place of value) in the middle of a busy highway.
Busy Online Highways
Facebook
Twitter
Better Networker
Get you name mentioned on other peoples more popular blogs.
Etc etc.
So How Is This Done I hear you ask.
Remember be creative.
With Facebook you can change your “better” content into Facebook Notes. In these notes you tag as many of you “influential friends” as possible.
Their friends will see that their “influential friend” has been tagged in a note and they may go and have a look at what the note is all about.
You can also find “good” relevant Facebook groups and pages. On the wall of these groups and pages put a link to your content. Followers of the group may come and have a look.
NOTE: Dont’ put links to sales pages! VALUE ONLY!!
And make sure you have a social relationship with all the people you tag.
Twitter. You can tweet your link to your followers. Here is what I learned from The Google Switch. Send individual tweets to people and include their name in it.
So it will look something like @twitterfriend Here is a great insight into attraction marketing http://myamazinglink.
Because their name is in it they are more likely to read it, therefore more likely to click it. (This can be automated, its all in The Google Switch).
Better Networker. Convert your content into an article, video or BN blog post and submit it to the Better Networker community.
Now to be able to submit content to BN you have to be a paying member. The cost for this is low but the rewards are huge, a no brainer really.
The community vote on your content via actual votes, Retweets and Facebook Shares. The content with the most votes get the chance to have their content blasted out to the entire community in an email. Some 60,000+ highly targeted people.
I have managed to get on some of these emails and they make a massive difference to the amount of traffic my blog gets.
Getting mentioned on other peoples blogs.
This all boils down to good old fashioned relationship building.
Become an active member of their blog, comment on their post, send people to their blog from your blog, do a review of that person or the content they provide.
They will return the favour by mentioning you in one of their post. This is not a set in stone rule, but most good marketing bloggers will do this.
I have been mentioned on some quality blog post and articles. Here are just two examples.
Me on Jason Better’s Blog - totally awesome that Jason did this.
Me on the best MLM Blog in the world – Thank you Ty for doing this. I was speechless!

Hey Dwayne,
How ironic, I was thinking of writing something very similar to this. Now that's pretty cool.
I love these tips in building out your attraction marketing. Truly a simple, and easy guide to follow.
Take care,
Jerome Ratliff
P.S. Kudos on being featured on Ty's and JB's blog.
Another great post Dwayne. Lots of golden nuggets here to take on board. Thank you for sharing.
Colette aka workfmhomeDiva.
Hi Dwayne,
Thanks for sharing the actionable tips. I agree and practice more than one of your pointers.
The idea which you stressed it creativity. Being creative means doing something a little – or a lot – unlike the other guy. It's taking practical attraction marketing techniques and putting a little twist on them. The more unique you can be the more attractive you will become.
Ryan
Hi Dwayne,
I really like the comparison you made with the guy standing in the middle of the road to get a lot of attention from the passing traffic. The image you created is clear and really makes sence.
Thanks,
Elmar

These are great ideas, Dwayne! Thank you so much for sharing them in such an easy to understand way! I can see that I have not been using either facebook or twitter to the full potential.
It's funny that you mention other blogs because just this morning I had been thinking about a post where I share about my favorite bloggers. Though I wasn't thinking about reciprocity, I just wanted to give thanks and let others know about them! That is also how I found out about your blog, through Jason Better's blog.
Also, thanks for the reminder that I need to finish reading the Google Switch!
Stacy
Love your blog as always Dwayne…
Hi Dwayne,
Standing apart from the rest is excellent advice. It's not always easy as we are programmed to take the safe route. We don't want to look like fools but with low risk comes low rewards. So what if something does not work? You will have learned a lot anyway and the next time you step out “into the traffic”
, it will be a whole lot easier. Thanks for sharing this.

Hey Jerome. Great minds think alike.
I would love to read what you come up with.
Featuring in Ty's blog was a complete shock but it was a great feeling.
Hey Colette
Thanks. It is great to see that you put some of my tips in to use immediately. That is what makes the difference, taking action!! Well done to you and thank you for the comment.
Creativity is what sets us aside from the rest!
Thanks for passing by Ryan.
Hey Elmar
Thanks for the comment and welcome to my world online.
I always try to paint a clear picture. I am glad you appreciated it.
Hey Stacy
Things don't need to be hard. A lot of people take a simple thing and try to make it all complex and techy, when in reality it is usually a very simple process which you need to apply.
Doing a blog post to thank others is a great way to show your appreciation for those who have helped and supported you.
You haven't finished reading The Google Switch yet??? shame on you (ha).
Thank you Antwon. Hows it all going with you?
Hey Marcus.
Take the risk, learn the lesson, move on. Regardless of whether the outcome of your risk was a success or failure the formula remains the same. (I love the way you put your words btw)
Hello Dwayne I bet if marketer A owned a towing business he would be rich!! No seriously we are in a highly competitive environment these days and the successful marketer is the creative one. I like in the analogy that both marketers had access to the same knowledge but it's how they used it that made the greatest difference so true…
Steve Shoemaker
Dwayne,
Loved the analogy. It made me chuckle. Great tips on using all of the available social media platforms to get noticed. The key is to add value. You can really stand out on places like Better Networker when you give your best work there.

Excellent methods Dwayne
Face it, we live in a society with limited attention spans so not only do we have to market to the right people but at the same time provide outstanding value to attract their attention.
Good stuff Dwayne.
Hey Steve
As we all came to find out having the knowledge is only half the battle. Application of the knowledge is where all the success is.
…a towing company…hummm!
Hey Wayne
Standing out is what it is all about, add a little bit of creativity and who knows where it can take you.
Thank Peter.
Limited attention spans is so true. I suffer for it myself.
Great explanation, Dwayne.
To add to it… If you can find a way to divert some of that traffic to your parking garage, you have it made!
love the word pictures! Value and more value is the key.
Man, you outdid yourself on this one, Dwayne. This is a very powerful, value-packed article.
Loved Derek's comment below as well.
Great stuff! Keep it coming,
Ilka
This was a great post. You gotta be able to standout from the rest in order to really get noticed. I like the idea about tagging your notes. I never thought of that! Keep up the great posts Dwayne!
Sherman
great point to add Derek, thank you.
Thank Charlie.
You can't bet the value of VALUE
Thanks Ilka.
Thanks Sherman.
Use the info and let me know how it works out for you.
Great stuff! I like to play my own little game, it's a learning game , kind of a controled “Stumble”. I have a few MLM blogs I follow, but I expand the reach and research a comment or two that interest me. I was on Ty Tribble's blog and saw your referance to your blog being used as an example by him and came to say hi. I like your style.
Thanks Dwayne,
I like your maturity, and your style of communication. You really get the point across.
Thank you man. I liked this post.
