How Do I Set Up A Network Marketing Blog?

How Do I Set Up A Network Marketing Blog? This is a question which I have been asked a lot over the last two weeks. Along with, “how do I drive traffic to my blog?”, “how do I get my blog’s Alexa Rank high in a short space of time?”….

The whole point of this blog to help people and provide valuable information. So that is what I am going to do.

Over the Easter break I was thinking of the best way to show and explain all that goes on with blogging (at least the way I have done it). What I found was there is a lot of information involved and I don’t think putting it in a blog post will do it justice. So I have come up with a better way to answer these network marketing blog questions.

The Dwayne Huggins Network Marketing Blog Blueprint.

The name may change, but I figure I will put together my first product. A step-by-step guide of what I did from November 4th 2009 till now to get my blog to where it is.

I have a good idea of what I am going to include but I’m not doing this for me. I would like to know if you would like any more specific questions answered?

Are there areas which you find difficult or more challenging than others?

Are any traffic generation methods which you don’t understand etc…

Consider this post as a little bit of my market research. I want to give you what you want. So feel free to throw a lot of questions my way in the comment arena.

I will be working on this product this month. I want to get it out to you guys in May. So please get all your questions in as soon as possible.

(Kinda excited to do my first product).

As We Are On The Topic Of Blogs…

For those of you who have been reading my content for a while you would of noticed changes happening every now and again. Everything must change in order to grow and our blogs should be no different.

When I started my blog it was purely to brand myself and hopefully get people to join my list and maybe sell a few products here and there.

From working on my blog everyday it became more than that. It is still obviously for the reasons just pointed out, but I also get a lot from doing it.

I get to meet and know you guys, build great relationships with you guys and get to share great content with you guys. I also learn a lot form you. These are the things I didn’t think about back on November 2009 when I started my blog, yet these are the things which hold the most value to me today.

So THANK YOU for making what I thought was going to be a difficult task a lot easier and way more enjoyable.

Recent changes to my blog have been done so that it:

  • is more user friendly
  • will convert more readers into subscribers
  • will convert more subscribers into business partners
  • will be more SEO efficient

There are a few more changes which will be coming up soon which I know you guys will appreciate.

By the way. What do you think of the “Work With Me Banner“? let me know.

I hope you had a great Easter break
Dwayne

Hi Dwayne,

What you have been able to do in a short period of time with your blog is just phenomenal. It's a great example to all of us on what can be done if we do what we are taught, and just knuckle down. A true inspiration.

My hats off to you. And I'm looking forward to your launch.

Have an awesome day,

Wayne

I like the Banner actually. I know you are supposed to be giving things of value and so on but lets be real and it is about sales and if people don't know how to connect with you for that opportunity then it defeats its purpose. Plus it is great posturing, be bold, all leaders are. It certainly is nothing to be ashamed of and anyone trying to replicate a good system shouldn't have to spend their time just trying to find out how.

Hey Dwayne,

Great blueprint to having a successful blog. I agree with you about how it must change at times. It's the nature of having a blog and ensuring everyone gets a great experience.

Your blog looks great Dwayne. I'm glad I've been able to experience it first hand for the last few months.

Talk to you later,
Jerome Ratliff

Thanks for that great experience.

Hey Dwayne,

I have notice that you are making changes to your blog.

It is great that you are creating a product for individuals that want to know how to create a blog and drive traffic. Driving traffic is a question that I believe so many people ask frequently. When you set up a game plan and stick to the game plan. You see results. You stuck to your game plan and seeing the results.

Chat with you later…

Hey Richard

The idea of putting the banner so prominent is to go with my character. I am honest and up-front and if people want to work with me I want to make it as easy as possible to do so.

Thank you for passing by and for your vote of confidence. It means a lot.

Hey Jerome.

Growth in itself is change. So I embrace change and look for way to make it benefit myself and others.
I am looking forward to getting down all the work I have done to my blog to get it to where it is now. It is an opportunity to help people find little golden nuggets along their way that I may take for granted now.

Its all about the plan. That really helped me. I had a good idea / plan of what I want ed my blog to be before I started it.

Thanks for passing by Josh

Make sure you include an SEO blueprint in your product. A site that is built properly on the front end for SEO purposes can be leveraged by all of the other traffic generating avenues.

A ton of people look at SEO as something difficult so they ignore it and lose out on a ton of traffic.

Good stuff,
Eric

Hey Dwayne,

I love the changes you have made so far. Did you make the banner your self or outsource it? Great work either way. Your direction has even noticeably changed over the last few months.

This is some great information for new marketers to see. The amount of thought and care going into a business blog is a huge part of the marketing process.

I constantly work on my site. Though the things I spend my time on are not visual most of the time. Eventually I will decide on the perfect header, or break down and put one up just to get rid of some of my sites ugly.

Hey Eric

I will definitely have an SEO area or 2. That has been an essential part of my blog success. I am not an SEO genius but what I do know has helped, so I will be sharing what I have used.

Hey Chris

I did the banner myself. I am glad you like it.

Thank you for taking notice of the advancements of my blog, some of the changes have been very subtle.

I still have a long way to go with this blog, but I'll get there and i am loving the journey.

You have some great content on your blog. I am there regularly, eagerly waiting for the next installment.

Hey Dwayne,

I'm looking forward to seeing what you come out with — congratulations on taking that step!

I'm making some changes over at “The Line” as well. It'll be good to see what you come up with, maybe it'll stir up some ideas for your readers.

Dwayne,

Looking forward to the guide! I'm always tweaking something on my own blog to see how it helps people navigate and how I can get a better response.

One thing you might want to include in your guide is a complete list of the plugins you have found that work best for you. There's just about a gazillion plugins available for Wordpress, but only a few that are worth using. That would be great info for others to know.

Talk soon,

Mike

Hey Dwayne,

You said you made the banner yourself (great work by the way) what program did you do it on?

I want to make one for my site but I'm “graphic design challenged”

Hey Derek

Thank you.
Some of the changes will be very subtle like the inclusion of my Network Marketing page (added last night) mainly for SEO purposes.

Can't wait to see what you do over at “The Line”

Hey Matt

I used Photoshop. The main thing to do with a 'direct sale' piece is make it very simple. People have to know what the message is without having to figure it out. A great design is good and pleasing to the eye, but it can lose the message.

Hey Susanna

Thank you.
The product will be very interesting for me as I have to find time to create it, but where there is a will there is a way.

Dwayne I always enjoy reading your blog. Besides the quality content I am just a fan of more white space on blogs and yours fits this criteria perfectly. Look forward to seeing your product. I am working on something too and although it's very time consuming it's also very enjoyable to do as I am sure you are finding too. First class my friend!

I guess it depends what the subject is but yes sometimes I wonder whether I'm including too much. Generally I think keeping it simple and practical so people can apply it and get results is the best way.

Cheers
