As a network marketer the word leverage is like sweet music to your ears, but are you leveraging the efforts of your network marketing blog?
Some of you devote a good chunk of your time to your blog on a daily basis and my hat is off to you for doing so. I am sure you are seeing the results of your work paying off.
In my recent post So You Got A Network Marketing Blog. What Makes Yours Different From The Rest? I touched on why network marketers blog. Today I am going to give you 3 ways to make your blog go that much further, bring you that much more traffic and of course the all important backlinks which we all crave.
Blog Leverage 1
Alltop.com – AllTop is like your own personal magazine shelf, but instead of magazines you have blogs, other peoples blogs. AllTop isn’t just for network marketing blogs it is an A-Z of any and every blog, so you can gather all your interests in one place and see at a moments glance when there is new content for you to consume from blogs which interest you.
AllTop is a highly trafficked site with a great Alexa Rank. It works by you setting up an account with them (entry level is free and all you really need). Within your account you can set up a feed from your blog in the correct category which your blog belongs to. Your input stops here unless you want to go down the sponsored route and that is entirely your choice.
Now every time you up-date your blog your AllTop account will also be up dated. The good thing is people can select your blog to put on their online shelf. I currently get a growing amount of traffic from AllTop.
Blog Leverage 2
ThatMLMBeat.com – More and more the search engines are refining their returned searches to be more ‘relevant’. If you have a link to your network marketing blog from a site that is talking about the different types of grass around the world your link relationship will not be seen as very relevant to the search engines.
This is where sites like ThatMLMBeat are very helpful to you. As the url suggest it is all about MLM, you can’t get more relevant than that.
Similar to AllTop you set up an account (freely) and supply them with your blog feed. There is also a paid upgrade which you can take a look at when you are ready.
Here is what my ThatMLMBeat blog looks like. I have had some post rank in the SERPS from here quicker than from my own blog.
ThatMLMBeat has a good Alexa rank and it has many network marketers currently using it, but I am sure George Fourie (the owner) will appreciate more.
Blog Leverage 3
MLMURLS.com – I am getting you involved in this as it is starting to grow. MLMURLS is an MLM news aggregator. It is similar to AllTop by it being a place to gather blogs you like, the difference being it is only for blogs about MLM / Network Marketing so very relevant.
To set up an account is free and like the others you simply add your blog feed. A link will appear on their page every time you up date your site.
MLMURLS has only just started but it already has some great network marketing blogs on there such as JasonBetter.com and Ty Tribble’s MLMBlog.net . Be one of the first to also get your blog there. I believe that this will grow very fast.
Get Leveraging Your Network Marketing Blog
There are more places where you can leverage the power of your blog, if you know of them please feel free to share in my comment arena.
I am using the 3 above which I am getting traffic from. Once you set up your account you leave it to run and that’s it. You can monitor how effective it is for you and then decide if you what to upgrade to the sponsored packages.
At best you have just acquired 3 powerful relevant backlinks to your blog. I am sure you won’t complain about that. So get leveraging!
Happy Monday
Dwayne

Hey Josh
Yeh, these places are cool, very easy to set up and can have a good impact on your blog.
Thanks for the useful tips Dwayne. I'll just follow in your wake until I feel the moment is right to pass you and take the lead, lol.
Hey Dwayne,
Some nice little golden nuggets there, I will be all over that!
Nice one.
Wayne Vassell, signing out…
Some really good places to get a ton of exposure. Getting your stuff indexed on sites that don't get a lot of traffic is like, well, $%)# in the wind.
These sites get a bunch of traffic for sure.
Good info,
Eric McMillan

Hey Dwayne,
Great suggestions here. I recently joined thatmlmbeat.com and am heading off to the others.
I also like blogcatolog.com and blogarama.com.
You should add them to your mix. Great stuff. Blog catalog has an Alexa ranking of 392. Not too shabby
Hey Ilka
No problem, glad to share
Thanks Marcus
MLMURLS I have a feeling is going to be pretty big, so get in there early.
Hey Chris
Thanks for your input, I will check those out.
Hi Dwayne! another great post and thanks for sharing those links! I will be sure to Join them at some point today!
At the end of the Day a blog with no Audience that reciprocrates back or buys your product, service or ebook is as good as a dead blog. Setting up a Blog and writing good content alone just is not going to cut it, so services like the ones you mention here to gain traffic and leverage your blog will help bloggers no end!
Also I think commenting on others posts is a great way to get traffic to your blog that reciprocates back. In my comments I try and leave my 2 cents worth that would maybe help the author of the post in someway, So have you thought about using the CommentLuv and the DoFollow Plugins on your blog! The comment Luv plugin leaves a text link back to the commenters last post on their blog in your comment area, thats my 2 cents worth anyway and just a thought for you!
All The Best.

Hey Phil
Thanks for passing by and for the value you have added to this post.
I am currently looking to see if CommentLuv will work with Disqus. (Do you know if they are compatible?)
If they do work together I will add CommentLuv.
Your $0.02 is always welcomed here.
Cheers Buddy! I am not to sure about that It would be good if it does! You could always google it or contact each respective plugin creator! TBH though i just prefer CommentLuv, Never really used Disqus before. May try it to see if it works!
All the Best

Thank you Dwayne…although I don't get too swing by your blog as often as I would like to recently (due to my landscaping business starting again), I always find it refreshing that you offer such great content and tips I can easily implement into my marketing business.
Have a great day.
